There is no other way to say it. There are some racist white ladies out there. They hate Obama more than they love their own vags. Why else is there not over 70% of women voting for the DEMOCRAT PARTY? How can a woman vote for a party that wants to legalize rape? No man would vote for a party that legally forced them to get circumcised. Only women stand by their legal rapists. Men won't ever stand by their legal circumciser.
We already know there are a good 20% of subservient, "chastity belt", wearing white ladies out there. They gonna vote republican because they don't want to get beat down by their husbands. But the rest of you ladies are either racist, reverse sexist or blond.
Or there are some women who are so anti-abortion that they simply don't care about what happens to the sluts who want to kill their children. I think the attitude is that those immoral women won't mind having surgical implements being shoved up there, what's one more probe?
Moral, god-fearing/loving women don't need abortions. Immoral sluts should be as humilated as much as possible so as to prevent this from ever happening again.

I don't get it. The new testament preaches love, tolerance, walking in the other's shoes, turning the other cheek. Why can't people who say that they follow the teachings actually follow them??!?!?!?!?!!?
First of all, I am not sure about your level of literacy. Second, on what side of the fence do you fall. Just because a woman chooses to have an abortion (because she was raped or due to incest or to save her own life etc.) does not make her a slut. Those who throw try to use the bible as a weapon against others should be sure about what they are saying. Judge no one lest ye be judged. Love your neighbor. God can sort out all of the other stuff. We are only here to support each other.

Knowing that I watch your show would annoy my conservative friends, but I somehow thing that would tickley you. I enjoy your show, but give me a break when you act incredulous that republican leaders won't come on your show. Why would they? They would not be able to keep up with you. Sorry, but a PITIFUL segment on the Dutch euthanasia issue. How about some information, Rachel? Why would you do this entire segment and not even follow up on what the Dutch euthanasia policy IS?? The speaker even gave you the opening, but you would rather just rag on Santorum. Of course he's an idiot, but you owe your viewers more than snark.
I thought Rachel stated that in the segment: In the Netherlands, euthanasia is legal and understood to mean termination of life by a doctor at the request of a patient.
I don't think the segment was about "the Dutch euthanasia issue", nor the premise of the segment was about educating us on what the Dutch euthanasia policy is in details. Rather, it was about Santorum's lies on what is happening there and more importantly about the fact that these kind of lies, judgement, and demonizing attitude the GOP candidates constantly doing about other countries policy just to gain some political points is starting to make the US look really bad abroad (if it has not already...as I'm sure the rest of the spectacle just make us look like a big joke).
As noted in the segment by both Rachel and her guess, it is one thing when somebody (or a nobody) like Bill O'Reilly say a lie like that, but coming from Santorum as the Presidential nominee of this country will make some reflection that is hard to ignore, hence the focus was on Santorum and what he said.
I lean toward agreeing with this. What is the euthanasia policy in the Netherlands (so we know exactly how Santorum got it wrong)? And although I thought your guest was well spoken, I don't like the msnbc habit of using other journalists as sources. You couldn't find an expert on euthansia in other countries to interview? Newsrooms used to pride themselves on their contacts and the ability to talk to actual sources for stories, instead of interviewing each other.
Seems to me that we were given a fact check site the other day that proved how wrong Santorum was. She has limited time and I for one would not want her to repeat facts when we can either look back at the site already given or simply look it up.

Ok, well i'm Dutch, living in Nijmegen (you can look that up). The euthanasia policy in the Netherlands is that when a person physically suffers to the extremes and there is no chance of ever recovering from that (basically waiting your days in terrible pain and suffer for example with uncurable cancer) you can start a traject with several docters for euthanasia. This can only be done when a person is sane (toerekeningsvatbaar) and not for example when a person is suffering from dementia. That is what we call active euthanasia and it happens very rare. Mostly done by the person self (the docter just does the first traject and acts like an bystander. So we absolutely do not euthanise the elderly against their will in hospitals, nor wear bracelets. Some people do have a DNR code on them, which is legal.
When a patient is in a vegitative state in the hospital (coma) then you have the option to discuss with the physisians if there is by any means a chance a person could wake up and if there is any braindamage.
So it isn't that simple and therefore we have strict policies on euthanasia.
Let's see how many men would like to put their feet up in stirrups and have a probe inserted into their penis.

I saw the interview with Erik Mouthaan. As an American currently living in Germany, I have found myself in similar situations, trying to explain comments by Republican politicians. With their comments about "not wanting to be like those European socialist state" or similar. I often get asked if Americans think that Germans are all communists or something. Like Rachel, I often feel the need to apologize. But if I'm truthful, I have to answer that at least for the so-called "base" of the republican party, the answer is yes, I think that is exactly what they think.

Santorum attacking the Dutch? Abortion Rates in the Netherlands are among the LOWEST in the world...putting America's Abortion rates to shame.
And they achieved this laudable goal thru Sex education and National Health care...not Government intervention.
Of course, if America had a LOW abortion rate, like the Netherlands...then the Religious Right /Republican party wouldn't have an ISSUE to run on.
