While watching tonight's video preview, take a listen to tonight's soundtrack. (Just be sure to let the ad below play out entirely before starting the song.)
Executive producer Bill Wolff shares a preview of tonight's show:

Dear Rachel:
I want to know who will bring the real deal about Marco Rubio?
I hope it is your team who will start showing the real Marco Rubio, because he is a fraud... He's been treated as "royalty"and I just have no idea HOW or what is the foundation for the idolation of this guy. I cannot wait for the mask to come off and the true colors start showing.
Thanks,
Celia ( Miami)
I agree. I lived in FL from 1980 - 2009 - and I also firmly believe that Rubio cannot withstand a close scrutiny. Neither can Jeb, which is the only reason he isn't playing now, imho.
The Right likes to act like Chicago is the ultimate in dirty politics - truth is, Chicago could learn from Miami.
And Barry had such an illustrious Senate year
Vasectomy regulation? So now it's legislation restricting what can be done to the male genitals, simultaneous with proposals for forced intrusions into the female, and calls for abortion to be illegal, even in the case of rape.
Are we getting into the general ballpark of legalizing rape?
Yes thats next up in the republican war on women. If a man is "vasectomized" he wont be convicted of felony rape. It'll be just a little old misdemeanor.
Pity poor Yasmin. She tried to pull off a gotchya and failed to consider that these idiots might actually pass her bill. Nothing is too far out for the right now.
I guess I'm the only one that sees the GOP debates for what they are. Just like the DEMOCRAT PARTY, the republicans also have a base of loyalists. This base will vote republican no matter what.
What folks don't see is the GOP primary candidates are fighting over the lunatic fringe of the republican party. Basically, the tea party. That's why these debates are full of red meat and full of megalomaniacal ideas.
Oh there are quite a few people who think a third party could spring up uncorrupted and beyond the reach of lobbyists but I for one quit doing drugs in the sixties.
Of course there are those true Socialists and their already formed party anxious to con you into a WWII style "labor" movement.
Many people have asked the question - why the Republican assualt on womens health and birth control? This is a civil rights issue. How do Repubs feel about civil rights? How do they feel about minorities. Are they trying to control african-americans, latinos, and other ethnic groups? If you aren't male, white, wealthy and Republican; the Republican party wants to control you. I have only heard one comparison of what Repubs are trying to do with what Hitler and Germany DID. While Repubs have no problem comparing Obama to Satan or Hitler; why haven't we heard more about what Hitler did and what Repubs are trying to do regarding women and reproduction. If you don't believe me - just Google "controlling reproduction" and see what you can find. The bottom line, I believe is control. With control comes power. Since nearly everything the Repubs have done since 2010 seems to be taken from a playbook written by rightwing conservatives like the Koch Brothers, ALEC, Karl Rove's group, etc. The attack on unions, education, voting rights, etc is taken from this playbook; doesn't it make sense that the attack on reproductive rights is also taken from this conservative playbook? While Repubs keep saying they are for small government; in reality their idea of small government makes you small and them very big and powerful.
What catapulted the birth control issue into coverage by the main-stream press was catholic priests reading, from the pulpit, on a sunday morning, letters from their bishops about the "evils" of government-mandated insurance coverage for contraception. They were hoping for a discussion of religious freedom and spoiling for a fight. Instead, they now have a bright, harsh light on the lunacy of their "theology".
Rachel i applaud your use of the subjunctive mode regarding Democrat's inaction. Why not encourage the complete withdrawal of the ultrasound bill since no rewording is acceptable. Just pull a karl rove and give the bills proponents full credit for realizing that they were entirely wrong in submiting it in the first place and thank them for awakening and doing the right thing
Rachel, I found your segment on Marco Rubio to be reaching and below you. To go down that road regarding a potential VP nominee's faith only further blurs the separation of church and state lines that we Democrats purport to uphold. It must be a slow news night for your staff to put this garbage in front of you. BTW, I'm no fan of Rubio, but you didn't need to go there, at least not yet.
Rachel, this is a comment about the segment at the end of the show on Thursday, February 23. You talked about Mitt Romney's supporters and how often they disagreed with Mitt's positions.
But you left out the most obvious and most prolific misstater, and that is of course John McCain. McCain has made so many mistakes that I believe it is either deliberate or subconscious. At least twice McCain praised Obama. He also blasted Citizens United, and made at least three other "gaffes", that were all reasonable and correct opinions, but always were against the Romney position.
I have not seen McCain lately. Maybe Romney or his handlers have finally caught on to McCain.
They yap about the "lamestream media" yet use prime time tactics. They bring sex, religion and bigotry into the debate themselves into up their ratings. Little do they know or care, that the majority are viewing them as a comedy. Or maybe they want sane Americans to stay home on election day thinking nobody will vote for a republican again.
Ooops Virginia went to far. Now we know these nuts are serious!
Watching Ms. Neal from Georgia was a hoot last night. Outlawing vasectomy's? Rachel, your show should be moved to the comedy channel, or perhaps you could join in the cast of jackass, due to your regular 'stunts' dealing with a persons right to choose. They have a right to choose to have sex or not.. We are taught from childhood that EVERY choice has a consequence, good or bad, and that we must be RESPONSIBLE for our choices.
I have never known a woman to get pregnant by NOT having sex. Well there was one, but I doubt you have an understanding of that.
