Herman Cain has found a way to revive Herman Cain's campaign:
"Women For Cain" is an online national fellowship of women dedicated to helping elect Herman Cain as the next President of the United States.
"Women for Cain" is also a stock photo festival of the highest order, and we can't resist playing along. Below, you'll find those same four "women for Cain" looking at a cell phone -- love the keywords on the right.
This is yet more proof that Herman Cain is the Koch brothers' brother from another mother, because despite having enough money for their own photo shoots, Mr. Cain and the Koch brothers prefer the very cheap stock photos. Is it not embarrassing to them to have their "supporters" exposed as human mannequins? See also: "Women for Cain" looking at a laptop; with wrapped presents; with balloons; smiling together; and forming a star shape with their fingers.

shocked, I tell you, shocked that these guys would try to fool us....
shocked, I tell you, shocked that people would actually use stock photos in web design...
(I know, lets see if we can make the equivalence of a news story from it, aha...)
It is news. The man's trying to rile up women against his accusers... using pictures of women who may or may not support him. Fakey supporters for a fakey candidate
...and the site looks amateurish. He's done.
"Blaspheme"?
Hermain Cain, aka "gropey smurf", succeeds in putting black men backward at least 20 years.
No, not black men, Republican "family values" politicians. And probably not by 20 years, but maybe by 20 minutes.
Wow, how pathetic.
Gropey Smurf will try anything.
Come on, man. The name calling is juvenile. I hate it on right wing blogs, and I hate it here.
Hey, they're just enthusiastic about life....and... everything.
Yes, they were compensated well for that "enthusiasm"......Couldn't they at least "pay" real people we couldn't find on "stockphoto", c'mon......
Are there any Koch imitators out there in the spirit of Richard M. Dixon, who would be willing to pose for stock photos we could use?
You have to question why a man would run for politcal office knowing he was having a 13 year affair with a woman. He is either that arrogant or stupid. Not sure which.
No reason it can't be both!
He wasn't running for office; he was conducting a book tour and garnering free publicity. It was an "accident" that he was gaining in the polls. The GOP Machine does NOT want him as the candidate and never did. Same with the newt.
Jo6Pack, I agree. Bachman, Cain, and Gingrich, at a minimum, should have been laughed off the political stage. They are kept around to push the envelope of "extremism" so that Mitt Romney and Rick Perry seem "normal" by comparison.
This wording from the "Women for Cain" page is very interesting:
Gloria Cain is the National Chairperson for "Women for Cain" and is the very special woman who Mr. Cain devoted his life to many years ago.
"...devoted his life to many years ago..." Not so much now? What about the last, say, 13 years? Freudian or perhaps agency speak for "they have a problem right now but we'll address it with this spin."
Besides the fact that it's just poor grammar - how about "to whom he devoted his life..."
Sharon stop the blushing the grammar. Your been one who has trouble with grammar. Cain is devoted to himself.
Pretty Sad..Is it just me or does the girl in the first pic in front kind of look like Christine O'donnell? from a distance...If that's true that explains it. She is trying to put a spell on us with her covenant..
When I was in junior high school I remember a project of cutting out magazine photos and descriptions of different propaganda. Sales, marketing is merely propaganda, the selling of an idea.
You will have lovely hair, beautiful smiles and attract a g/f-b/f wife/husband if you buy this toothpaste and buy this cell phone.
I loved art and wanted to be a commercial artist, but the sales part leaves me cold.
We do live in a place where making and selling stuff is a way of life. True, but gullibility and ego-feeding is the side effect of our commercial ways.
on the same note, have you noticed that most of the commercials during rachel's show aren't necessarily for a product, but are more a PR campaign for different companies/industries? America's Natural Gas stands out clearly as one.
uh huh
Do they still do that in schools? I learned about "advertising" too and can still remember the rhetorical methods we had to recognize.
i only ever had to learn them in advertising classes i chose to take.
MechTrek and Emily,
Not sure if they do. I am a bit doubtful if they do teach that any more. I have "heard people around me say" they no longer teach government, critical thinking or what was once required classes Civics and Contemporary American History. Much has changed since my school days in 60's-70's.
It was specifically presented to me during history in the context of recognizing propaganda's different forms and the place we found it for our homework here was in advertisements.
My vote for the greatest Herman Cain joke ever, a reader's comment
today on Wonkette. Herman Cain: "I'm ending my campaign to spend more
time with your wife."
Of course Cain is a Koch Bros. creation. But we have to ask why they would want to muddy the primaries. Cain is a stalking horse for another candidate that may not even be in the primaries. Romney is being dissed by Fox while they promote Gingrich who is unelectable. Cain was dissed by Fox which broke the story about the affair. I still think that Perry is going to have a rebound. He is the perfect Republican candidate; he says all the right things to the voter base. And most of all, he is dumb and malleable so if he were to become President, he could be manipulated just like Bush. The special interests want someone to do their bidding without asking a lot of questions or independent thinking. I find it difficult to believe that Fox and the Koch Bros. are going to seriously get behind Newt who will be an easy target in the general election.
Rick is nice and dumb, but a little too much so. Bush was dumb, but on a level one could squint and over look. During the 2000 election (don't remember everything as I was 12, but I was also from TX), he didn't make too many bush-isms or make people that he was embarrassed to have elected him. Perry needed to wait till after he got office, or at least the general election, before showing how dumb he is.
We call these people sociopaths.
What I look forward too in the up coming presidential election is whoever is the candidate for the republican party is how angry there candidate will be. The republicans have a way of making there front runner very loud and angry and sink there campaigns. There is no on in the republican party that will be able to beat Obama and they know it. They are running scared the republicans do not have a clear leader all of these candidates are beatable. I just hope the American public is smart enough not to buy into the republican agenda. Things will not get better under Newt or any of the others it will be the same. The rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. The income inequality will grow to be even bigger. If the republicans want to win they need to admit that income inequality is what is ruining this country. Stop blaming the democrats and start blaming those with the money. The middle class is dying and if it isn't revived soon things will only get worse. In order to create jobs we need a middle class who can spend money not a middle class or any class of people that can't. The rich do not spend enough money to keep this economy going there is not enough of them to do that. They need to pay there employees more so that they can spend to keep the economy going.
This is what I have been saying too. Both sides are terrible but the Dems a little less so.
Anyway.... they listen but they do not hear.
It's hard to believe that it was 3 years ago when McCain selected the momma grizzly as a running mate with no vetting. Remember the media questioning that and the mad scramble to vet afterwards?
Apparently the republicans don't, lol.
I think they're doing it on purpose now because of how popular she got, confusing celebrity status with people as elect-ability. A lot of people like the folksy, have-a-drink-with-me, and noob-to-real-govt candidates as they find a lot of real politicians practiced, slimey, and untrustworthy (Hi Mitt!)
I am one of those that thinks the Republicans did not really want to win the White House, but keep the money flowing and people engaged for the other seats. Also, many are only in this for money possibilities.
I think the same thing for 2012, look at the field….. waiting for Jeb Bush's turn, perhaps.
EEEUUUUWWW I clicked the LIKE button by MISTAKE!!!!!
ANOTHER BUSH!!!??? NO WAY NO HOW. He won't run until 2016 anyway. Hopefully people will still remember the damage his Daddy and moron brother caused by then.
Well, I really wasn't saying I WANTED another Bush if that's what you thought.
I agree, I hope the people know that the Bush family is always behind bailing out failed banks that were operating with too much risks. Silverado S & L run aground by Neil Bush.

Herman, your art project is showing.
I always suspected that the mega-beyond-belief rich folks like the Koch brothers were socially inept. There are some things money cannot buy such as the ability to relate with people. It inevitably comes across as phony.
When I think of Herman Cain using this picture of these women who, in stock photo land, are doing all these things so closely together, it brings to mind the "L" word!
...
...NO! Not THAT word!
...
...THIS word: LOSER!!!!!
Hey, isn't that Meghan McCain in the top photo? Ha!
By the way, if we're doing Cain jokes, here's one I kept to myself until now:
When the Herman Cain campaign announced it was reconsidering its options, my first reaction was that they realized that running for Silvio Berlusconi's old job was a better fit for him than President of the US.
Thanks for voting away my right to marry, you sanctimonious, ridiculous hypocrite Republicans. You've caused irrevocable insult, and you deserve sadistic scrutiny for everything you do. Your zealot, perverted pig, Herman Cain, is laughing at you!
There - fixed it.
OMG that is too funny!
FYI, using images for political purposes is not allowed by most stock agencies
Probably why the image is no longer there. LOL
Alan Sues, dead at 85.
Good-bye, big friend, good-bye.
(Meant to put that in the open thread. Sorry.)
I remember him well. Sorry that he is gone.
