MeddlingMonkey, I reference two cultures along with the some of the GOP, (3 different back grounds ) that have a different opinion then Mickey Mouser. She is the one that equated the Taiwanese to another group. Namely the GOP.
Just thought I would expain it to you so es you could understand that there are many different groups that doen't agree with you. Not just the GOP.

We used to find currency stamped with "Gay Money" back in the day. It is as green as anyone's. Nobody minded taking that money at all....
The POTUS did attend an LGBTQ fundraiser recently. Perhaps the pink money is symbolic of that uneasy relationship he has with our community, asking for our money while not stating unequivocally his full support for marriage equality.

Love this! A few days ago, I sent an email to President Obama to get off the fence and explained the harm DOMA does to me and my partner on a daily basis. Then sent an email to Candidate Obama saying he steps up on Marital Equality or no more money from me! Unsubscribed from all his fund raising newsletters.
It annoys me to no end that the GLBT community don't hold his feet to the fire on Marriage Equality, DOMA (not going against it is not enough) and Don't ask don't tell (STILL in place months later.)
It make me sick watching the GLBT audience at the fund raiser in New York hand over the checks and smile and get nothing in return.
