I found this article about Jim Tressel's (Ohio State Head Football Coach) willingness to welcome gay athletes on his team. It's from last week, but better late than never.

Oddly enough I was reading an FCC Broadband article on Wired.com this morning when my broadband connection went down for 3 hours. :/ Good timing on the heels of this poll.
Some hoax fliers were distributed mocking openly gay mayoral candidate Craig Lowe.
I know I should feel outraged, but it just makes me giggle. Gays in Women's Restrooms! Gay Public Sex Education? Parades! Just like San Francisco!
Craig lowe did win - by 42 votes. the hoax and hate people were led by the Pastor Jones, who wants to make friends with the muslims by burning their koran. Maybe someone should deliver his ass to the Muslims, with a saw and a video camera. it would make good copy and as they say - politics makes strange bedfellows.
And I'm glad that I made a couple hundred gotv calls for craig. maybe I made the difference. Was it god who woke me up that the election was in two days, get off my ass and get to work.

The tea party is the brainchild of the Koch Brothers, who own energy businesses that gross upwards of a hundred billion $$$. And their grand aunt Ilse Koch was thrown in jail in germany in 1951 for making lampshades out of Jew's skin during the holocaust.
The repubs have become the monstrosity of the west - religious nut jobs allied with the big mmoney people. Just like saudi arabia.

In a war that will never end, just as the sunnis and shia have been killing each other over since 700 AD over which @!$%# should have replaced mohammed when he died.
The world faces a world gone mad. Maybe the nut job christians have it partially right - the apocolypse. But the thing they have wrong is that Jesus is not going to return - he was just a man. And civilization will die.
